   what a sad commentary – and maybe 75% are actually there because of bureaucratic screw-ups of some kind!

   Has anyone(like Montanacorruption.org or ACLU) asked for a official stance on what the candidates from congress to the president think of private prisons or ways to reduce America’s prison population to be more inline with the rest of the world?

  I have only had a few Senators tell me what their stance is. Senator Greg Hinkle wrote an article that was published on here that he would like to see Restorative Justice instead of the method that we are using now. He along with some other Senators and Representatives, that I know of, do not agree with the prisons for profit and warehousing inmates. I would love for someone to ask the candidates what their official stance is on “private prisons” or ways to reduce Americas prison population to be more inline with the rest of the world. I cannot find any mainstream media that will ask them these questions. The few that we have tried to ask will not comment.
