*Disclaimer from montanacorruption.org, it is not our place to say if any accused testimonies that are shared on here are innocent or guilty.
A few of the cases are guilty but it is how the probation officers handle placing ex-inmates back into the prison system. An emergency visit to the hospital should not be a technical violation.
*Anyone with a mental disability should be seen if they are getting the correct treatment needed in classes.
Our motive is to start educating and exposing a problem here in the judicial system. To show some major discrepancies in what the system is reporting and what the documentation is showing.
Many have stated and we have seen first hand where the public defenders did not do anything to investigate into the cases. It is too coincidental that none of these people know each other and there are more yet still, but they have many of the same complaints as how their cases were handled. Even the ACLU had a lawsuit concerning the public defender system.
For those that are on parole you hear the same complaints across the board. Something is wrong when 94% are returned on a technical violation. Technical violations of going to the hospital, getting married…etc.
We are also concerned about how Montana Department of Corrections is taking away the chance of parole. How they are taking away programs and all hope of these inmates getting out. The mandatory classes seems to be an issue as we receive complaints that some are made to take it although their sentencing documents state otherwise and for those where their sentencing documents state that they should take it some cannot get into a program.
This website is dedicated to exploring all issues that are brought before us and not about just one or any testimonies or case. They are used as examples. We do not advocate violence in any form we are only seeking information and sharing observations. It is up to the reader to research and validate each news link or documentation that is on here.
